Little Stars<\/h3><\/div>

Little Stars is an introductory play and learn basketball program for 3 \u2013 4 year-olds. Expect lots of fun, and game-based activities that will develop coordination and motor skills in a safe and nurturing basketball setting.

Aussie Hoops<\/h3><\/div>

Aussie Hoops is all about teaching the fundamentals of basketball to 5-9 year olds through game based activities with a huge focus on fun and inclusivity. Athletes work in small groups that are streamed according to their developmental level, however friendship groups are always respected.

J-League<\/h3><\/div>

J-League is designed for athletes whose fundamental skills and game-sense has developed to the stage where they are ready to play modified 5 on 5 team basketball on 8-foot rings. Our focus is very much on skill development and learning the game, with inclusivity and enjoyment far outweighing the result. A 55 minute session is typically divided between skill development, game concepts and an actual match.
We also offer a Girls Only session.

Rep Development Squad<\/h3><\/div>

Rep Development Squad is for athletes that aspire to play rep basketball in the 2022\/3 season. The program focuses on competitive skill training and situational game play and is designed to support and complement the athlete\u2019s weekly domestic training.

Only open to athletes born in 2012, 2013 and 2014

Girls Programs<\/h3><\/div>

Collingwood Basketball is committed to the promotion and advancement of female participation at all levels of basketball.

Girls Only J-League<\/a> and Girls Rep Development Squad<\/a> are both girls only spaces that are designed to encourage the growth of female basketball at our club

AAA (Access for All Abilities)<\/h3><\/div>

Collingwood Basketball Association, in conjunction with Basketball Victoria and the City of Yarra, runs an ongoing Access for All Abilities Basketball (AAA) program.

AAA Basketball is for boys and girls aged 6 \u2013 16 years, with special needs, who would like to learn to play basketball at a fun, friendly and inclusive club. We encourage brothers and sisters, and mums and dads to be part of the program and get involved as we have fun on the court.

Holiday Programs<\/h3><\/div>

Collingwood Basketball camps run every school holidays and focus on basketball skill acquisition through fun games, activities and drills. 

We offer camps that are suitable for primary school aged children from beginners through to domestic level athletes.

Sporting Schools<\/h3><\/div>

Sporting Schools is an Australian Sports Commission initiative that provides funding for local primary schools to engage local grassroots sporting organisations to deliver programs to connect primary aged children with local sporting clubs.

Collingwood Basketball is very active in this space having delivered programs to over 20 local schools in 2022.
